Medical officers should organise acute admissions as follows:

24 Hours
Call the Admissions Office on 03 9385 1111

All other times, call the Hospital-in-Charge on 03 9385 1111

Elective Admissions

Elective admissions are arranged through the office of an accredited medical practitioner.

In most cases, a general practitioner refers a patient to a consultant, and an elective admission is arranged if appropriate.
