Healthe Care is transforming Brunswick Private Hospital into a comprehensive rehabilitation and general medical facility with extensive outpatient and community based services.

Ultimately, the hospital is expected to accommodate 40 rehabilitation beds, 27 beds for general medical services, over 875sqm of prime leasing space fronting Moreland Road, physiotherapy consulting space, gymnasium, hydrotherapy pool, hyperbaric chamber, co-located imaging; pathology and pharmacy.

In addition to in-patient services, the hospital will provide extensive outpatient programs supported by the latest technology and access to allied health services. The new hospital will not only replace ageing infrastructure, but presents the opportunity to investigate new models of care while taking a fresh look at how the hospital will deliver its health services.

To this end, we focus on supporting the relationships between patients, doctors, nurses and allied health professionals to enhance the quality of care and health outcomes for our patients. This is complemented by our state of the art equipment, comfortable facilities and our skilled and experienced staff.

We currently offer a combination of 50 medical and rehabilitation beds. All wards are undergoing a major refurbishment and facilities are being furnished with advanced equipment and medical technology.

Brunswick Private Hospital was acquired in August 2009 by Healthe Care Australia Pty Ltd.

Both private and self-insured patients are welcome at Brunswick Private. We are a Tier 1 provider of hospital services to the veteran community and we also welcome patients who travel from the country or overseas to have their treatment at our hospital.

The hospital is fully accredited by the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards.
